It was a crazy busy weekend but most of the Christmas preparations I needed to do before leaving for the in-laws are complete! For some reason I just couldn't get motivated before now and I didn't start any Christmas shopping until Friday and Saturday. Yikesa! I was feeling a bit panicky but surprisingly it went very smoothly. Lucking out by finding parking spots at the malls easily and scratching a 40% discount at the department store were just a couple of things that went well. Today I baked about 8 dozen cookies and made some yummy Nuts & Bolts (I am a salt lover compared to sweets so I love that stuff!). I have to work Monday but tomorrow night we just need to deliver some gifts to neighbors kids and pack up as we are heading out Tuesday morning. It's a long 11 hour drive and I sure hope the roads and weather cooperate.
Thought I'd just show you one last Christmas card post. These are one of the batches of cards I made to send out this year. I quite liked the out of the box colors I went with and these were so easy to make extra batches as I ran out. Who's ready to make Valentines cards?? Me!!! Haha.
