Friday! Woohoo!! I'm going to head over to the mall today where an Anthropology store just opened up. I hear it's a great store so that will be fun.
Speaking of fun check out these colours that Jewels chose for us. I bought this gorgeous lace at a thrift store and couldn't wait to use it on a card. I used punched out circles behind each lace circle. It really helped pop out the lace design, don't you think?
I'm really loving white embossing powder lately. The problem is I'm loving using it on colours like cream and grey which are so light you can barely see them in my photos. I'm finally using (the Nikon I bought over a year ago) and playing with some settings to get more comfortable with it. I can see improvement in my photos and I'm liking some of the results. Practice, practice, practice.

Quick question.....is anyone else signed up for Pinterest? I did sign up here (if you want to follow me) but the only thing I have up is one "re-pin". For some reason I'm not able to add the "Pin It" button to my tool bar and I'm wondering if anyone else had that problem and what you did to fix it? If you have no idea what I'm talking about you should check it out. It's basically a way to "pin" images of stuff you love in one place that links back to the blog or site you found it. Think "Favorites" but with pictures.
