Hey everyone.....long time no post. Whatcha all been up to? I'd say I haven't been up to much but it seems like there is always something going on.
I'm testing a new App I purchased called Blogsy which will allow me to post from my iPad. Actually, I bought it many months ago but I'm a slow learner and didn't "get it" and I didn't bother trying too hard. So if this post looks different or the photos are wonky bear with me. If I can figure this out on the iPad I might post more often as I seem to avoid my basement/craft room lately and that's where our iMac is.
Have you all been to the Technique Tuesday website lately? They've announced the sets they are retiring so get them while you can. This stamp called Friendship Never Melts is one of them and I just happen to have an extra stamp set that I would love to give to one of you!
Just leave me a comment. Tell me something like whether you are done your Christmas shopping or haven't started yet? Have you put up your decorations yet or not? Maybe if I hear how on the ball you all are I will get motivated!
I will leave the giveaway open for 1 week and choose a winner randomly next Sunday, December 2nd. Good luck!
Ok, here it goes.....I'm going to post this sucker and see what happens. Wish me luck.
Do as I say, not as I do. When you join us and play along with this Embellish Magazine challenge add some ribbon to your card. Um, yeah, I kinda missed that part.
My excuse is that I was watching PVR'd episodes of my new favorite fall shows while making this and completely went brain dead. (Revolution...OMG such a good show....freaks me out to imagine the power going off in the entire world. Is anyone else watching this??? Nashville....just watched 2 episodes so far....but totally enjoying it. And of course X Factor. I'm not in love with any of the finalists yet but I love the show overall).
So what I'm trying to say is....add some RIBBON!
I used the following Technique Tuesday stamp sets. Thank you and Chevron Two Step. The Chevron was stamped on with a cream coloured chalk ink, which was barely visible. Once I sponged my distress ink around the edges of the card it clung to the design and showed up perfectly.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mine will be very full and busy. My sister is bringing my nieces and nephew to Calgary and I am babysitting them for the weekend. I haven't seen them since July at their cabin and I'm so excited to get lots of hugs and play time! Can anyone suggest how to apply Saran wrap to my walls? LOL.
