{{Thank YOU}} .....& looking for Denise!

Thank you so much to my fellow Loonie girls for planning the surprise birthday hop for me yesterday.  I really was duped and had no idea because my friends know I usually like to just have a nice low key birthday without the attention.  Since my b-day was Nov 3 I really was surprised on the 6th when I discovered what you all did.  Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.  It was fun to spend my morning hopping when I should have been cleaning.  Haha.  Next year I am going to be 40 (WHAT?!!!) so it's probably best everyone just ducks and hides for that one.  LOL. 

I thought I'd share this card with you that I made a little while ago so that you all know I am sending hugs-n-kisses to each and every one of you that visit me and are just so incredibly supportive of me! 

BTW-----the winner of the Papertrey Anniversary set hasn't contacted me.  Does anyone know Denise?  You can see her comment here by scrolling to the bottom of my post.  It doesn't appear that she has a blog and I don't have an email address as I deleted all the emails I get when notified of the comments.  Anywho....if I don't hear from Denise by Nov 13 I will re-draw for it.  I will be away next week for work and won't be back till the evening of the 13th.  Have a WONDERFUL weekend everyone!!

Home!

Hey Everyone!  I am home but only for a day.  My sister had her baby while I was away.  It's a boy and his name is Ryder James.  He was 9lbs 9oz----Ouch!  She had a c-section and has some recovering to do.  I will be driving up there tomorrow (Tuesday) and will be back sometime on the weekend.  I can't wait to meet this little guy and I just love him so much already.  It will be fun to see how his big sisters are reacting to this new little addition in their lives. 

The cruise was fantastic.  We had such a relaxing enjoyable week.  I didn't take as many pics as I would have liked but here's a few I have to share. 

Before the cruise we had some time to kill so we walked around the beach and went for a Margarita at Bubba Gumps...I think that's what the place was called?  I have no idea why we are both standing funny.  Just being silly I guess.

 

 

Our favorite place by far was Orient Beach in St. Maarten.  The water was so warm and we just floated around in the ocean for a very long time.  The sand was amazing and everything was wonderful.  I know we will go back here one day.

 

 

Here we are in St Maarten.  Mike is going to kill me for posting this pic.  He had the funniest sunburn.  Spraying sun tan lotion in the wind isn't such a smart move Hon.  Heehee.

 

 

It was overcast in Princess Cays, Bahamas but still beautiful and warm.  We had to be tendered in and here's a shot of the ship waiting for us.

 

 

The island Grand Turk looks really beautiful from the ship.  We took a cab to a more remote beach than what is at port. It appears to be quite a poor island and is very damaged from a hurricane they had last year.  I was pretty sad for the locals because of that. 

 

 

Here we are in Grand Turk on the remote beach.  Not many people ventured from Margaritaville at the dock but I was glad that we did.

I was suppose to go on that cruise last year! I have never been on one and chickened out! Hope you have a fantastic trip with your hubby. I know lots of people that have taken cruises... Alaska being the top one. I lived there for over 34 years so not sure what the excitement was about it, but know that people think it is fantastic. I have never used a Papertrey Ink stamp, but this recent release I ordered a few of the new ones. Can't wait to get them and try them out. Thank you for the inspiration you give on your blog. I so enjoy your postings.

Remember THIS post?  That was the Papertrey~~Stamping Bella~~GinaK cruise I went on almost 1 year ago (364 days to be exact) and I loved the cruise so much that I am on my way again~~~this time with my hubby and without any craft items. Haha.  I am super excited and thought I'd leave you with a little blog give away and my itinerary.   BTW - the picture on that card still applies to me in a bathing suit!  HAHA!

I am SO excited that you are here!  It's Card Creations 7 week over at Paper Crafts and I am THA-RILLED to be part of the CC7 designer blog tour.  Seriously~~~somebody pinch me!!!!

                          

Is that not the most gorgeous cover ever?!  I was absolutely on Cloud 9 when I had 7 cards picked up for this edition.  It's my very first publication with Paper Crafts and I couldn't be more honoured to be asked to showcase one of those cards for you.  I chose the Birthday Bird and Bling.  The starting point for this card was actually that gorgeous velvet ribbon.  It's vintage Le Roi and I had just recently found many rolls of it for $1 each (seriously!) and was eager to use it.  The other materials just fell in to place and perfectly finished off a simple card with a big pop of colour.  I cannot believe how good it looks photographed by a professional.  Yep.....still on Cloud 9.

Elzybells Sneak Peek Day 1 & Blog Candy

               

Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy!!  I love this time of the month where we can share a few sneak peeks of the upcoming Elzybells release.   We have 3 days of sneaks for you this time with the stamps being available on Wednesday June 24. 

My cards are made using sentiments from the new Best Things clear set.  OMGosh can I just tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE these sentiments.   LOVE!!!  They are just so perfect and as usual I think the font is perfect and just so Elzybells!  I know I will be using them a ton.

Hey Everyone!  I got back from the cruise late last night.  It truly was wonderful and I can't wait to share some pictures and details with you all.  But today I am being super lazy and can't seem to get myself to stop napping.  I haven't even opened my suitcases to unpack or start laundry but that can wait, right?!!  haha.  It's so great to be home but it's bittersweet since the cruise was so fab and my vacation with my girlfriends was even more fun than I could have imagined.
