Seriously.....how cute is this?? While I normally like my birthday very low key I have to tell you that today is my birthday in order to tell you that my husband made me this card!!! I totally cried when he gave it to me. Here's the story~~~~on Sunday he told me he is going to make me a card. That he has "an idea". Okaaayyyyy. I tell him he can just buy one. He say's something like he didn't pay thousands of dollars to renovate the basement so he could go buy me a card. Well OK then! So I hear him swear once. I hear him sound frustrated more than once. And I hear him go in and out of the garage a few times so you can imagine what I "expected" and then you can imagine how in shock I was when I saw it. Is this not the sweetest card ever?!! I just love it so much. I had to talk him in to letting me post it on my blog but first he had to point out to me that he was thinking about geometry while creating the card....oh and he used a slurpee cup to trace the shape! LOL!!! The flame is double sided with a glue dot holding a wire down the centre, so it moves~~~gotta love the 3-D effect. And speaking of glue dots I think he used about 50 to attach the ribbon.
