Loonie Stampers Challenge #29

 

It's that time again!!  I just loved Dee's color pic this week.  I am loving anything orange these days.  And yes, I know the color map above says Summer Sunrise as it's the closest to orange that Papertrey has.....however feel free to use ANY color orange you want....like I did.  Now this card follows a sketch.  I know! I can't believe it either as normally I am not a "sketch kind of girl" but I was drawn to this one.  Plus I love Marie Josee and her AMAZING work.  If you haven't seen her videos you are missing out!  I could watch them 100 times over!

I wanted to use my new Elzybell girl from the current release but the chocolate cookie theme just wouldn't work for the color scheme.  Flower Girl worked perfectly!!  The sentiment is from the new Eggstravaganza sentiment set.

      

Here's the close up of my crocheted flowers I used.  Hand made with love by none other than my amazing friend Jewels.  I just put in my next order!  Yes, she is selling them and I know she has tons more that she is getting ready for sale plus some wicked new colors of yarn on order.  Cannot wait for the CHOCOLATE color!!  Here is her ETSY store.   

          

This next card was CASED big time from the SU catalogue.  Page 100 to be exact and I have always loved it whenever I flip through the catty.   Wendy was good enough to let me borrow her stamp set and now that she see's this post and remembers she lent it to me I bet she's going to want it back! haha.

Yay, it's Monday!!  Lucky for you that means Elzybells new stamps are available today.  There are a couple full sets and many individual stamps being released that I didn't showcase for you so you will want to be sure to visit the on-line store to check those out.  In case you are not familiar with Elzybells UK stamps I just wanted to let you know the images are HUGE.  I LOVE the size.  They are just the best for coloring and paper piecing.  This one was especially great to color because with all those sweets Sky's the limit for color!

        

Iwas playing with some leftovers from my Easter egg card and made these little notebooks and treat bags.  Now if I don't end up eating all the chocolates before Easter arrives I will be able to give these to my neighbors little girls.  Easter is a long way away...it's not looking good for my neighbors little girls!

 

       

  

Elzybells Sneak Peek Day 3

         

Oh I have been having so much fun with my new Elzybells stamps!!!  This card has got me in the mood for Spring I tell ya.  Now that I have an Easter stamp set I will actually do Easter cards~~~I said "do them" not send them.  As my friends and family know all too well I am a card maker, not a card sender.  LOL!        

     

This fantastic clear set is called Eggstravaganza.  It has a bunch of different egg designs so you can really play around and have alot of fun with it.  The bed of flowers was stamped 3 times across the bottom of the image and makes the cutest border.  The set goes on sale Monday which means you can have it in plenty of time for Easter.   Be sure to check out Elizabeth's blog as well as my fellow DT members.  You are sure to see some fabulous goodness!!  Have a peaceful Sunday.

Hi!  Welcome to Sneak Peek Day 2!  My card today uses 2 stamps from a new clear set being released by Elzybells on Monday.  It's called Just Desserts and has not one but TWO cutie patootie Elzy girls!  And if you know me you know I LOVE those little girls!!  And this sentiment is so cute.  This set is perfect to be used with so many gift ideas such as cookies in decorated tins or bags.  Please check out the DT's sneak peek's also.  You can find them on my sidebar as well as on Elizabeths blog.  Hope your weekend is fabulous!!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #28

 

 

Oh, I am so late getting this posted.  I finished the card at 12:30 am last night but my sister is in town and came over to spend the day with me today.  My little nieces are 2.5 yrs and 1 yr old so they kept us busy!!  It was a GREAT day!!

Anywho......I am sure you came to see cards and that is what I have to show you.  The color challenge today sounds easy and it is----but what is not easy is NO RIBBON??  Oh My.  And trust me this card could have used some ribbon but I do what I'm told!  heehee.    But I like to think those amazing crocheted flowers do make up for the lack of ribbon.  I absolutley love them and my good friend Jewels makes and sells them~~~for a great price.  She is so talented! I want them ALL and I have ordered some orange ones which I can't wait to get!

Pure Indulgence

    

 

Welcome to Day 1 of sneak peeks for the upcoming Elzybells stamp release.  That means it's time for some Elzybells indulgence!!  Let me start by saying I so LOVE this new stamp called Indulgence.  It will be available on Monday.  It's quite large and would make a great background stamp but I used it as a focal image on my card.  When I saw this stamp all I could think of was YUM!  You can see where I went with that thought....haha.  Just look at all those little sweets~~~ Adorable!!

For the next few days the DT and Elizabeth will be sharing new creations each day so please check back.   The new stamps are all so great and you are going to love them! Have a great Friday everyone!

The stamps I used on this card are Busy Bee and Buzzin by to say Hi.  Cuteness!!I However, I think that my editing and "brightness" on this card got a little out of hand.  Sorry if I blinded you!

Yay~~~A Short Week!!

     

I hope you had a great long weekend if you were lucky enough to have Monday as a holiday where you are.  I know I enjoyed sleeping in on Monday!!  It also makes it an extra short work week for me....just Tuesday and Wednesday.   This card uses some new papers by Making Memories that I picked up at Michaels a week or so ago.  It's called Chloes Closet and they are fun and fresh!  They are 8x8 in size and that pinked bottom layer is just half the sheet of dp adhered to the card base.  Well, that's it.  Short and sweet today.  Have a GREAT day everyone.

Hi all!!  Hope you are having a good weekend.  I have been a bit of a slug, I'm afraid.  No creativity in me at the moment.  But I have good news.  I had one card accepted in to the July 2009 issue of CARDS.  Which means I have several rejects I can share with you!!  LOL.  I totally loved the Papertrey Anniversary countdown.  It had me very motivated with their contest etc.  I am sort of sad it's over but at least I can look forward to receiving my order!!
