Loonie Stampers Challenge #33

Adore Raspberry Suite Color Challenge

          

Just a quickie post so I can get my color challenge card posted on to Dawn's blog.  I have 4 friends who had baby girls in March so I thought this was a great opportunity to get one of the cards done that I will need.

     

Here's a close up of the flower I made.  As you may know I LOVE Primas Canvas Lollipop flowers and have them in several colors. You can see a green one in my post below.  I made my flower using 2 of my favorite Papertrey colors. 

   

Loonie Stampers Challenge #32

   

Here's my Loonie card---and it's on time!!  Todays colors brought to you by Ms. Jewels as well as her awesome color map.  Good colors Jewels.  Next week is my color pick---I better come up with something soon!  Sorry for bad photo.  I don't like when I take pics at night because they are dark and awful.  ETA:  I changed the pic after I was able to get one in the natural light....much better!

Got Polka Dots?

           

Hey Everyone!  I have an Elzybells DT challenge card for you today!  I just loved this challenge which was to use Polka Dots.  I made a little Easter basket using ric rac and stamped the egg stamp from Eggstravaganza Sentiments on to different colors of Papertreys Bitty Dot paper.  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.  The polka dot card is from Michaels.  I love how this little cutie turned out.   I hope you do too.  Please be sure to visit Elizabeth's blog to see the other DT's cards.  I didn't get my pic to her in time but I know you will see some seriously cute cards there.

Happy Birthday Dear Leanne

      

WHOOPS!!!!  I am just a little teeny bit late posting last Friday's Loonie card.  The creativity has not been flowing for the last week but I finally got it done.  I made this card for my  wonderful cousin Leanne.  She is one of favorite people in life.  We really are such a part of each other and are so alike that we should be sisters.  Happy Birthday Leanne.  Love you babe! But don't be watching your mail box too soon because this card is still sitting on my table in my craft room.  LOL.  Sorry.  

     

On a funny side note~~~in the 80's, early 90's, I owned a pair of dark purple earrings that looked EXACTLY like those crimped circles on the card.  I totally laughed when I remembered that.  Memories~~~Oh good times, good times!  Haha.  

Day 4 - Elzybells Stamps Available Today!!!

   

Hi everyone!  Yep, it's Monday~~which is a GOOD thing in this case because the new Elzybells stamps are officially released and available to you today.  I have had alot of fun playing with these springy stamps.   This frame was inspired by the trio of cards I posted a couple days ago.  I transferred the general idea to the frame I purchased from Ikea and I think it turned out so sweet.  I hope my mom likes it too --even though it won't match her decor at all.  Whoops.  LOL.

     

And here's another little something I made when playing around with the Mini Messages - Little Hello clear set.  These little gift tags will be great to have handy to attach to a bag or wrapped present when I need them.  I think I will make my sister a bunch too.  She has 2 little girls and she could attach these to the loot bags she gives away at their birthday parties.

There's No Place Like Home

    Elzybells Sneak Peek Day 3

    

One of my favorite images (besides ALL of them) in the new Elzybells release called Mini Messages-Little Hello is this incredibly cute little house. It has such a comforting feeling about it don't you think?   The whole set is great and has 9 perfect images and 18 even more perfect sentiments.  LOVE it!!  I hope you love it too!  All new stamps are available Monday.  Just one more sleep.

Here's just a little something I did when I was playing around the other day.  The Faux Postage stamps are perfect for framing the mini stamps.  And where else but on an envelope is faux postage perfect for?!  I always joke with my girlfriends that I am a card maker, not a card giver.  Seriously I am terrible for not sending cards out BUT maybe these cute little envies will inspire me to do so.  Have a wonderful Sunday.  Relax and enjoy.
