Yesterday Steph and I canned Salsa and we had so much fun doing it. It was alot of work (a good 6 hours) but we think it was well worth it and are very happy with the results. Here's some of the finished product. We ended up with 24 pints in total. If Steph posts more pics of the process I will be sure to link it up and let you know. In fact we enjoyed it so much we went to the market today to buy all the ingredients to make pickles tomorrow!! Oh and we are going to pickle some green and yellow beans too. They are so good in a Ceaser.
Now for some more randomness... In August when we were on vaca with my family my 11 yr old niece Shelby told me she had some buttons for me. Well did she ever have buttons for me....it was a 4 litre pail full!!! The strangest thing is that the entire container is a mix of the same 10 or 12 kinds. She never did tell me where they came from but I will never say no to more buttons. Haha.
Anywho...If you are interested in these I would love to share. I will choose 2 people from comments received and send off the following amount to each...it's about 1 cup of buttons. My very favorite are those black and white ones that look like flowers. The turquoise ones are great too.
