These amazing colours were chosen by Jewels. And YES I LOVE them! After not being in the craft room for well over a week these were some fun colours to play with and it felt great. I think the second card needs a stitched border all the way around it though. Do you agree??
My pics weren't so easy to capture however. It was such a bright sunny day that the photos were either too dark or too washed out. No....I still haven't practiced with the big camera. Soon people...soon!
Is this stamp not AMAZING?!! I so love it. It's by Technique Tuesday. They are my new love I tell ya. This particular stamp is from the Thanks For Everything set. ...you gotta check it out.
The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing powder. I've had a few colours for a while now but have never used them. WOW....what took me so long? There's a bit of a technique to it which you can see on this video. I liked the "sandpaper" look and didn't rub any of it away to distress it but I will be trying that soon. These 2 close up pics might give you a good idea of the rough texture. It's so cool!
Here's the girls! I am sure they rocked the colours.

I hope you all enjoy the long Easter Weekend. Do you have plans? Big family gathering? Do you hide Easter eggs for your kids? On Easter Sunday we will have Mikes' 2 bachelor brothers over and have a BBQ (ribs). Our kitchen is totally packed up so we will even be eating on paper plates. Gotta love an easy holiday dinner and especially a quick clean up!
Happy Easter.
