A turtle is a reptile and a reptile is an animal. Right? Right. So here's my "Animal" card. I think it's pretty dang cute if you ask me. But don't ask me what Maria was thinking when she chose this weeks challenge. I was going to boycott "conveniently forget" it was Friday.
Don't you love these little guys? I can hardly believe I even own this stamp because I don't normally gravitate to stuff I have to colour or animal stamps for that matter. BUT I loved it when I saw it at CHA Winter (in January) and snapped it up.
I coloured. Last weekend I got a bit of a Copic lesson from Wendy when we were staying at her place while our floors were getting done. I tried to remember the whole light~dark~blend~light~dark thing when I coloured this image......and I'm pretty happy with the result.
My sentiment is from LOVE ALI by Technique Tuesday. Everytime I use this sentiment I tend to heat emboss it. I think it just looks cool with the bold font. Oh and don't look too close...cuz I forgot to use my embossing buddy. When will I ever learn?
