Hey everyone. Last night we went to a launch party for our contractors TV show (called Remodel It)which they had taped our kitchen renovation to be a part of. I'm so impressed with the preview they showed and I'm looking forward to it airing. I admit I didn't know what to expect so I was nervous but it is very well done and fun to watch. I can't wait to see the episodes with our kitchen. Apparently they put our whole reno into 2-3 episodes but they are not going to air them until around the end of April. I'll keep you posted if in fact they post it to their website. The contractor is called The Remodelers and they are in Calgary. Last week a photographer came and took still shots which I am going to try to get copies of. I'm feeling motivated to get a final kitchen reno post done to show you.
It's Friday so that means I have another LSC card to share with ya. Dee chose these great colours for us. {My picture is terrible}. It's so hard to photograph all that white space. What I need is someone to come here to show me exactly what settings I need to use. I've been told about a set of photography books that are apparently that easy. As in "you want this shot? Use this setting". I need to order them on Amazon and get working on getting decent shots with the Nikon. {these photos are taken with my HP so I didn't even try the Nikon this time. Ugh.} In case you're wondering that's a lemon in the background. haha.
ETA: I've been trying to get another picture of the card but with my Nikon D90 this time. It's still so washed out but I think it's better than the first one. Not by much mind you but I just need to keep practicing and learning.
The heart punch is Martha Stewart and they were randomly stitched onto the centre card block. Oh I have to point out that my wood buttons are representing the "kraft" colour. It works. Just go with it. I love how this card turned out and it's a great way to use patterned paper. I'll have to play around with some more shapes and see if I can use this layout for other events.
Here's hoping my girls rocked the challenge. Let's go see!!
