Yesterday I found the most awesome blog and she had the funnest thing going on over there. Amber from Damask Love started a Linky party for her "rejected" cards from the Paper Crafts Sketch call. I thought that was just the most brilliant idea and wanted to join in. I had one card out of 2 picked up. With over 2700 cards submitted and only 288 cards being picked you can imagine exactly what I thought my chances were. Yeah, slim to none. So I was pretty shocked to get the email. {{I guess they must have not hadmany entries for sketch #75. lol.}}
This card was my submission for sketch #81 and it hit the ol' reject pile. I don't have a picture of the sketch to show you (cuz I have no idea how to even do that) but here is the link for all the sketches. You might want to even use these as inspiration for yourselves one day?!
You can barely see it but part of the sentiment is embossed in white on white. Yeah, like that makes for good magazine material. Geez, I wonder why they didn't want it? Bwahaha.
ThanksAmber for hosting this fun Linky party and make sure you keep on submitting! Your style is wicked and your sense of humour is obviously as well.
Stamps are from Thanks for Everything by Technique Tuesday.
Have a fantabulous Sunday everyone!
