Hey all. It's Friday so that means I have a Loonie card to share. Love these colours. I promise my "turquoise" really is a great colour in person but, of course, my photo su-ucks and it looks like a light blue. Anywho.....the story behind this card is that I didn't even plan on making a card. I started out making those chipboard tags to use as a cake"pennant" topper for my nieces 5th birthday coming up. Have you seen those out there in the DIY blog world? Check out this link if you're not sure what I mean. SO SO SO cute!
Well it turns out that chipboard is just too heavy and they didn't sit right to be a free standing topper. So I slapped it on a card, added a bow and some punched out squares to add some depth to the card. {{Seriously...the picture is terrible. My Nikon hates me.}} I have made my neices birthday invites every year and I better get moving on those soon. They will have some kind of banner included. That will be my weekend project. Other than going garage sale'n with Steph of course! Woohoo!
