Happy Canada Day! We are experiencing some amazing weather so it's great to have a long weekend to enjoy the SUMMER (finally)!!
On a totally non crafty related topic......Is anyone else a big Will and Kate fan? They arrived in Canada today and will actually by in Calgary next week for a couple of days. I have already enjoyed the media coverage on it and I think it's great that they will be here and during Calgary Stampede no less. {{The Calgary Stampede is basically a 10 day western rodeo party that the whole city gets really into. I'm sure Wendy could share a few stories. lol.}} Random, I know.
This sentiment is officially my current favorite. Isn't that adorable? It's from the Belle on a Bike stamp set. I also used Houndstooth which I heat embossed in clear on the light grey cardstock. The stamps are from Technique Tuesday.
***I wanted to let you know that the Loonies are going to take a summer break from our Friday challenges. Todays card will be the last until we start up again in September. I'll still be posting cards when I can and of course the Thrifty Finds as long as I'm able to find a garage sale or thrift store to go to. Anywho, let's go see what the other girls make for their final summer Loonie creation......
